Toronto police are looking for an unknown man who allegedly attacked another man in an underground parking lot with a “baton-like weapon.”

On Nov. 11 at around 8:30 AM, a man was walking toward an elevator in an underground parking lot when he was confronted by a stranger about 50-60 years old, according to police.

Unprovoked, the stranger allegedly began hitting the man with a “baton-like weapon” before kicking him, too.

A bystander intervened after hearing the commotion, and the stranger fled on foot. The man who was attacked was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police describe the baton-wielding stranger as 6’-6’2”, unshaven with salt and pepper hair. At the time of the alleged assault, he was wearing a black, red, and white Canada toque, a black jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots.
