Sarnia man urinates all over holding cell after getting arrested for threatening landlord's handyman
This is the man's 53rd interaction with police since Nov. 2024.

A Sarnia man urinated all over his holding cell last week after police took him into custody for allegedly threatening to beat his landlord’s handyman with brass knuckles.
65-year-old Davin Lindfors reportedly confronted the maintenance worker on Oct. 23 about a damaged cupboard door in his apartment.
The pair got into an argument that quickly “escalated into pushing and shoving,” say police.
Lindfors then pulled out a pair of brass knuckles and allegedly “conveyed a clear desire to assault the worker with them.” In fact, he called 9-11 and told the cops about it.
Police arrived shortly after and arrested Lindfors. They also confiscated his brass knuckles.

After being taken into custody, Lindfors reportedly peed all over his holding cell.
“While in police custody, Lindfors expressed his displeasure by urinating all over his toilet-equipped cell, resulting in an additional charge of mischief being laid,” Sarnia Police said in a report.
Lindfors is facing six charges. Sarnia police say this was their 53rd interaction with him since November 2024, including 4 arrests and 11 charges.
Two years ago, Lindfors was featured in a Sarnia Journal article that detailed his past life—including his time partying with Jack Nicholson and getting drunk with Jeff Bridges.
Lindfors said he used to earn thousands of dollars a week as an engineer. He drove a BMW and owned condos in San Diego and Washington State.
“Money always came to me easily,” he said. “I was a binge-type guy and liked the nicer things in life. I was a binge drinker, a binge gambler, binge whatever.
“You’ve heard that the man takes the drug and the drug takes the man? Well, I would get the money and throw it away.”
Following his bail hearing last week, Lindfors was released by the court with conditions.
