Man charged after allegedly trying to kiss woman on GO Train

Police say he was acting in an "erratic manner."

A man has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly trying to kiss a woman aboard a Burlington GO Train.

Police say 41-year-old Bruce Pawlowsky was “behaving in an erratic manner” when he approached the woman around 8:45 PM on Nov. 14 as the train neared Appleby GO Station.

Pawlowsky initiated a conversation with the woman, then allegedly grabbed and tried to kiss her.

She pushed him away and he retreated to another area of the passenger car. The woman didn’t sustain any physical injuries.

Halton Police investigated the incident and arrested Pawlowsky on Nov. 26 in Whitby.

He is charged with sexual assault and four counts of breaching probation. The allegations against him have not been proven in court.

Police held him in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
