Guelph woman, 21, accused of kicking and spitting on police officer during arrest
The 21-year-old is charged with three counts of assaulting police.

A Guelph woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer early Friday morning.
The incident began just after 1 AM when police were dispatched to a house on Fife Road where a woman was reportedly damaging her neighbour’s door.
Officers quickly located the woman and placed her under arrest for disturbing the peace.
But while she was being walked to the police cruiser in handcuffs, the woman allegedly kicked an officer in the shin.
When placed inside the cruiser, she allegedly kicked the same officer twice more in the torso. She then spat on his cheek.
A 21-year-old Guelph woman is now charged with three counts of assaulting police. She also faces a charge of mischief under $5,000 for the damage to her neighbour's door.
The unproven allegations will be tested in court on January 9.
