Fight at Hamilton high school sends student to hospital

A 16-year-old and a 19-year-old have been arrested.

HAMILTON, ON—Two have been arrested after a fight at a Hamilton high school that sent one student to the hospital.

The fight broke out on Monday, Nov. 24, at Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School. Upon arrival, police found a 17-year-old male student suffering from injuries to his arm. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Police arrested a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old at the scene who are now facing assault charges. The 16-year-old has also been charged with two counts of Possession of Prohibited Weapon.

The investigation is ongoing, as police believe more students and non-students may have been involved.

Hamilton Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
