Washington wants to invade Venezuela and—according to U.S. War Secretary Pete Hegseth—so does six-year-old Franklin the turtle, a character from a Canadian animated children’s book series. More on that below.

And in domestic matters, remember that Ontario city councillor we covered 11 weeks ago who blamed AI for a death-threat voicemail sent to her political rival? She just got arrested.
