Good morning. Look around.
Conquest here, conquest there, conquest in your underwear.
Conquest everywhere: Russia in Ukraine, the US in Venezuala, Israel in Lebanon, the US and Israel in Iran, China in Taiwan…
But when will the next Conqueror™ reveal himself? Who will be this century’s Napolean or Hitler?
Who will be this millennium’s Genghis Khan? He conquered everywhere from Ukraine to China in the 1200s.
A 2003 study found that about 16 million men—or 0.5% of the world’s male population—can trace their genetic inheritance back to Genghis Khan.
And in 2026 it was discovered that two Quebec men had fathered a combined 349 children through sperm donated to fertility clinics. The father-son duo see themselves as “the solution to fertility problems in Quebec.”
Conquest here. Conquest there.
Enjoy today’s stories.

In a Canadian first, a judge has granted an injunction temporarily banning two Quebec men from donating sperm.
The two serial donors, Philippe Normand and his son Dominik Seelos, have fathered hundreds of children combined. Normand says he is the biological father of 109 children, while Seelos estimates he has around 240 kids.
After the story broke in a 2023 Crave documentary, a woman identifying herself as Laurie sued the men for allegedly fathering her four children.
Laurie accused the men of committing “fertility fraud” and of violating her dignity “both on contractual grounds and on fundamental rights.”
Last Wednesday, Justice Simon Chamberland granted an interlocutory injunction against the men, which prohibits them from donating their sperm in Quebec and from contacting anyone privately to offer sperm donations.
The injunction remains in effect until Chamberland renders a judgment in the trial.
“The number of children conceived,” says Chamberland, “significantly exceeds the limits generally recommended by experts to prevent potentially serious consequences for their children and their parents.” Namely, inbreeding and incest.
In court, Seelos denied being a “prolific donor” and said he doesn’t “stand out from the crowd” when it comes to sperm donors in Quebec.
Seelos also called himself “the solution to fertility problems in Quebec.”
The Quebec government is now reportedly considering new legislation limiting the amount of sperm a single man can donate to fertility clinics in Quebec.

A Guelph boy was arrested last Friday night after allegedly stealing candy from a store and macing an employee in the face with bear spray.
The 12-year-old kicked off his evening by bullying a kid two years older than him.
Around 8 PM last Friday night, he allegedly punched a 14-year-old boy that he knew in a park in North Guelph. He then threatened the boy with bear spray before stealing his sweater, according to police.
At 1:30 AM that same night, the kid reportedly entered a store and maced an employee with bear spray before fleeing with stolen candy.
Police found the kid nearby and arrested him.
He is charged with two counts of robbery, possessing weapons for a dangerous purpose, and breaching a release order.
He was released on bail Monday.

Ontario’s education minister is warning school boards to ensure students do not express any “political views” in their upcoming graduation speeches.
In an internal memo obtained by CBC, Education Minister Paul Calandra told teachers and school-board staff that students must not “engage in divisive or contentious issues of any kind.”
Politically charged speeches, he said, pose “a real risk to student well-being.”
“I will not hesitate to consider every tool available to me in the Education Act to ensure that students are always put first,” Calandra’s memo said.
“At minimum, boards must ensure that staff are held to the same standards expected of students.”
Last year, the valedictorian of an Ottawa high school was told to stay home from school the Monday following her graduation speech after she condemned Israeli military actions in the Gaza Strip.
“I must acknowledge colonial and genocidal atrocities today, including the massacre of more than 17,000 Palestinian children in Gaza,” Elizabeth Yao said in her speech last June.
The principal of Yao’s school said her speech “caused harm.”
Meanwhile, through powers granted him by new legislation, Calandra has taken over control of eight school boards this year, citing “serious concerns about infighting and long-term financial unsustainability.”
