Good morning.
It’s no secret that I’ve devoted extensive coverage to the rise of youth (under 18) crime.
(See issues #3, #5, #7, #10, #11, #12, #18, and #19.)
But I’d like you to know that it’s not because I hold a grudge against the youth, nor am I trying to demonize them.
Quite the opposite, in fact. Part of me admires their nihilism.
As comedian Tim Dillon says, they’ve “figured out that the country is a scam... and when you figure out the country is a scam, you can approach it the way a con artist or a scammer would approach it.”
“We've given up on the children,” he says. “They're dead-eyed little monsters. They're running around killing each other. We can't deal with it. It's very traumatic. I've even stopped thinking about what they're doing because it's crazy. I'm more excited about AI than the children.”
But as you will see in this issue, it’s not just kids causing chaos. It reaches, rather, “from generation to generation.”

⌛️ Today’s read is 3 minutes long.
“To what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their playmates, ‘We piped to you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not mourn.’”
